The storage
is the cry of many of us so your wait for good storage capability with this 2012
gadget is over. The Latest versions of
the MacBook Air broke ground with the use of super-speedy Flash storage. But
there have been some compromises made along the way, such as the inclusion of a
slower processor, limited storage space and the lack of backlight keyboard. But
will that affect the overall performance in a significant way? Or is the new
MacBook Air still a better machine overall despite the obvious drawbacks? Let's
find out. With better dual-core processors and the addition of Thunderbolt
technology that allows for high-speed data transfers with high-resolution
displays and other devices, the new MacBook Airs could very well threaten the
company’s MacBook Pro line.
The
laptops have been upgraded with a faster Intel Core i5 processor—which can be
upgraded to an Intel Core i7 chip—and a Thunderbolt port allowing for quicker
data transfer than USB 2.0 or firmware. Battery life has also been improved,
and the 13-inch model boasts some seven hours of juice, about 40 percent more
than its 11-inch counterpart. The new MacBook Air has millions pixel jam packed
into a screen only millimeters thick, this is one of Apple’s amazing feats and
surprising Apple has added into the MacBook Air. Because the screen is so thin
and there is so high-resolution pixels, Apple claims that if you’re on the 11
inch MacBook Air it will feel like you are on a 15 inch notebook. Also, if
you’re looking to boost your internal storage, recent teardowns have confirmed
that the flash chips aren’t soldered down to the logic board. The upgrades
continue the usage of Flash storage, the technology that has made the MacBook
Air a hit with those—read, “Everyone”—who can’t wait the extra seconds for
their machine to boot up. And the new machines maintain the line’s sleek,
aluminum styling. To conclude it is
highly slim although it comprises of full length keyboard. It is i5 and i7 configured gadget that can
change your processing speed and it is best for syst6em developers and high
calculation applications builders.
