USB Rechargeable Batteries- Technology Times

Ours is the age of USB. Here we have a new and the latest gadget that uses USB for its charging.  Now your batteries won’t get discharged and is happens so then you can charge them in no time by simply plugging them into your USB ports. Capacity of USBCELLs is about 40% less than that of conventional rechargeable batteries. This is due to a third of its volume being taken up by the USB connector and support circuitry. Whether people are willing to accept the decrease in battery life as a result of the convenience of USB charging remains to be seen. Whatever the future has in store for USBCELLs, we can't deny it's an interesting idea. Software, gadgets, magazines and more in our web store. Click here to see our latest offers. When your batteries run out of fuel, recharging this special power source is as easy as popping open the custom-made cap, which both conceals a USB dongle and acts as positive contact for the battery. A blue LED light indicates that the batteries are charging. When the charge is complete, the light goes off. Two AA batteries cost £13 but with garage shops talking fortunes on Christmas day to feed insatiable toys, games and other devices, that's not such a bad price. At least I now have a working radio in the bathroom.

This is just the initialization only and with the passage of the time this feature would be improved a lot. USBCELL AA batteries are standard rechargeable batteries but in order to recharge them you need to remove the top of the battery and plug them into the USB port. It takes about an hour to recharge it to 50%. If you’re interested in picking up 10 or less of the USB Rechargeable Batteries you can pick them up a set of four for $20.40 each. Of course, the ability to recharge batteries is not new but if, like me, you carry a laptop around with you and have a poor record on remembering peripherals, this is a convenient way to mitigate forgetfulness - not to mention the financial and environmental cost of constantly buying new disposable batteries.
