Tips and precautions before buying a Web Domain Name - Technology Times

1.       Archive.org:- This machine maintains snapshots of web pages, they hold the dynamic pages. This site will display all the content that a particular kind of domain name was hosting earlier.  Do not use the domain name that has porn content else you may not avail many services.

2.      Dogpile:-  Try to Google various addresses especially the who address that you are going to buy and this will again help you to get the previous content of the domain name you have opt. to buy.

3.      AdSense Sandbox:-   Make sure that the domain name that you are going to use is not banned by the Google AdSense team.  Else you cannot enter into the program.

Additional Tips before buying your Domain Name

1.   Never disclose your deal in forums- You should never use public forums to ask someone about some question about buying a domain name or a website.  Conditions can be that some other person becomes interested for the same domain name and ready to pay more than you are asking for.

2.     Google the reviews of other customers- Google is the best option to know much about the resellers, since many of the reviews can be seen in pages about the reseller you have opt. for.  From here you can get an idea about the reseller and get to know whether it is reliable or not.

3.     Ask for low prices/request to cut the rates- Since you are in a great need of the domain name because your site holds the content related to the domain name that has much cost.  So bargain for the same.  Many of the great site owners say that bargaining works.  Always request the reseller to low down the price may be your luck shines.

4.     Do not buy copyright domain names- Make sure that the domain name you are going to but is not having copyright.  If somehow you get it named and after some time the company comes to you to give the rights back since it is having a copyright.  So your money goes for vain.  So beware of copyright.
