Good news to all the YouTube publishers,
if you are using some of the video annotations then it is good news for
you. YouTube now has started to Crete
links to some external website using video annotations. So if you want to refer to your own website
simply add link to the video annotation played and the user can both move to
the referred website and also watch the video simultaneously. Earlier this facility by YouTube was not
provided. YouTube seem to be doing this
kind of stuff to make it more virtual to play video over YouTube video player.
This announcement was made by
the YouTube head of products Mr. Dror Shimshowitz.
Although YouTube share this
feature but you are only allowed to add hyperlink to some other YouTube video
only or to search related video on the YouTube search bar only. This is not declared that for what time
period this facility would b available. But
this can prove to be beneficial to the website holders to draw more traffic to
their websites.
