Samsung Galaxy S3 Review 2012 – Technology Times

The introduction of latest version of Android O/S, a whopping 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen and a whole suite of Apple-beating features, is the new Samsung Galaxy SIII the greatest phone ever?  While we were impressed with the results, things like Share Shot and Buddy Photo Share seal the deal.  This is coming from a user with quite large hands so we fear that for a lot of users the device will be just too big for day-to-day usage. What's more, pop that battery cover off and you're into a whole world of goodness. With Share Shot a group of Galaxy S III handsets can be linked over a wireless network to automatically share photos between devices as they are taken. Buddy Photo Share uses facial recognition to tag people from your contacts list in your photos automatically, allowing you to easily share pictures with your friends in them.

Samsung has made a big deal about this new phone, not only choosing to launch it at a big and glitzy standalone event in London but also claiming nearly 10 million pre-orders before it's even launched.  The smartphone is almost exactly the same size as the HTC One X at 71 x 137 mm. It’s a really big phone and though it’s comfortable to hold it is sometimes difficult to use, having to stretch across the large screen with one hand simply due to its size. There's a micro-SD slot that'll take cards up to 64GB in size, potentially giving you up to 128GB of storage if you opt for the Galaxy S3 version with 64GB of built in memory.

Important Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S3:-
ü  4.8in, 720 x 1280 pixel display
ü  Quad Core 1.4GHz CPU
ü  8MP camera with 1080p video
ü  Android 4.0 ICS with Touch Wiz

In terms of internal storage, the Galaxy S3 matches the iPhone 4S and has 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacity options.  The Galaxy S3 screen is stunning and comparable in quality to the one found on the HTC One X. It has a high pixel density of 306ppi where individual pixels are not distinguishable offering astonishing levels of detail. These are for a future wireless charging back plate and dock that will allow you to simply place your Galaxy S3 on its dock to charge it, without the need to plug in.  So in short: if you don't mind a slightly lighter-feeling polycarbonate shell and you like big HD screens in your pocket, this is a phone definitely worth checking out.
