Reliance 3G Tab Review - Technology Times

Reliance designed the new Tab to promote 3G network. But for Reliance, if they fail to offer a better looking interface their plan fails. Hence they introduced decent looking interface but Android mechanism did not provide much scope to their desire. It easily slips in hand purses at 389 grams and the look of it could instantly remind you of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Reliance unit came with a glossy front side and an easily detachable plasticky backflap disguised in a silver-gray metallic hue. We didn’t attempt breaking it, but the plastic appeared to be pretty fragile. It is made to easily slip down in hand purses at 389 grams and the look of it may remind you of the Samsung Galaxy Tab which is also sporting the market much earlier but the exterior looks and buttons provided differ it almost every way possible. The smartphone resemblance doesn’t end with the looks. The back can be opened to reveal the battery compartment and the micro SD card slot and SIM card slot. The huge battery takes most of the space. The tablet does not have too many hardware buttons. It has the volume rocker and the power button housed on the right. The Reliance Company came up with a glossy front texture and with an easily detachable plastick backflap disguised in a silver-gray metallic hue. One may not attempt breaking it, but the plastic appears to be pretty fragile at the first looks. Pulling out the backflap, the Li-Ion battery 3400mAh can be extracted to lay your hands on SIM and micro SD card slots for storage and connectivity besides Wi-Fi. Reliance has also bundled 4GB storage (micro SD card) which can be further expanded up to 32GB using the micro SD slot. On the inside, it is fuelled with an 800MHz processor and 512MB RAM. To refresh your memory, the Reliance 3G Tab runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The 3G Tab is powered by an ARM11 800MHz processor.
