Text Browser powered by Google Scripts – Technology Times

Usually it happens that you are more interested in content of some website and if you are working under low bandwidth than a thought strikes your mind that images shouldn’t be there.  So, one idea that comes into your mind is simply to disable the images from web browser settings.

This idea is old and irrelevant because at the same time you need images too if you are using some social networking site say Google+.  Here comes the role of text browser that allows you to search the contents through text only. There would be no images in the search.  It is a lynx-inspired browser and ignores all the rich content that is the reason for your low fetching speed under low bandwidth.  The text browsers functions under Google cloud and powered by Google Apps Script.

For the first time use it certainly needs Google Docs access.  This script would never disclose your Google Docs credentials.  The main benefit of this is that it simply mails you the uninstallation instructions so that in case of uninstallation you have to simply click the link provided.  After that all the searches in the Text Browser will be embedded in the same browser automatically.

Text Browser acts as a Proxy Server
The main advantage of this text browser is that you can access any of the sites of the world that is active crossing all the limits of inaccessible sites at your workplace.  This happens simply because your search is done in two steps.  First the request is downloaded at Google servers.  After that it is refined at your desktop rather than just fetching the data from the nearest router with security issues.  So this is a good form of Proxy Server.  It is beneficial for the low bandwidth internet users.
