Global Warming

Throughout the ages, Earth has cooled and warmed itself day after day. Climate changes due to uneven heating of the sun, and this all makes our seasons; all the cycle goes and repeats itself again after a year. But starling another factor has emerged and has changed the climatic condition of our mother earth.

What is Global Warming?

Global warming refers to the average increase in annual temperature due to excessive burning of fossil fuels and thus production of greenhouse gases.

How Does Today’s Warming Compare to Past Climate Change?

In good earlier days, Earth was responsible to change all the temperature changes but now-a-days all the human activities are responsible for the major changes on the planet.

Why Do Scientists Think Current Warming Isn’t Natural?

Scientists believe so, because earlier it used to be shifting of plates, movement of the polar material and also the earth was cooling, this all made some changes over the surface of the earth. Now, the situation is different, very few changes are happening by own and the major things are happening due to the human activities which has become a concern.

How Much More Will Earth Warm?

Calculations done by scientists have found that by the end of 21st century it will rise up to 6 degrees and it may rise above because earth hasn’t adjusted itself to, such a change by human endeavor. Burning of gases produces carbon-dioxide which is the main component for this global warming. Further, nuclear tests and explosions increases a lot of temperature at one go and expand the radioactive materials too.

How Will Earth Respond to Warming Temperatures?

The impact of such an activity doesn’t only mean increase in temperature. It deals in more ways, it will melt the glaciers, expand coastal areas; shrinking of rocks will become faster. Change in climatic patterns and thus it is related to many problems due to only single cause of overall warming i.e. global warming.
